The Caven Club in Liverpool
The Cavern Club is a rock and roll club at 10 Mathew Street, Liverpool, England, where Brian Epstein was introduced to the Beatles on 9 November 1961.
The Beatles performed here no less than 292 times in the early 1960s. Today’s Cavern, reconstructed using the original bricks and built on the same
site, opened in 1984.
It is a ‘must-see’ for Beatles fans and it’s still one the best venues in Liverpool to watch live music. The live music programme offers a wide range from tribute to contemporary – catch a performance most nights at the club and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
