Yes, you definately have captured our dark wet winter period here in the UK! I really like the wet flags and reflecting light on them. :-)

I like this because it’s a familiar scene to many in the UK, with the street lights and car headlights reflecting upon the wet pavement where the colours become saturated due to the wet surface of the flagstones. These lights provide some great colours which people either take for granted or just don’t see – other than observant photographers!!! Nice one gothgirl.
