I lived not far from this Church when I first moved to the Taos area. The painting brings back some fond memories. I see Taos Mountain in the background. I miss it all – mountains, adobe, the culture. Great work, Gordon :)
It is indeed a beautiful old mission, Kathleen. I want to do more of this kind of thing as I am really taken with southwestern imagery. Thanks for your kind words and the favoriting.

Thank you so much, Barbara. I truly appreciate the feedback.
This is excellent work Gordon!!! Vicki :)
Thank you, Vicki. I very much appreciate your taking time to comment.
I am honored that the New Mexico group has featured this print. Thank you all so much for your kindness.
I have a B&W in “Off Track Southwest United States in Black and White” of the same church. I live about 2 miles from it.
I looked up your B&W image of the church and love the composition. You are lucky to live in such a beautiful place. Thanks for stopping by, Gordon.
This was one of my “lucky shot” series! I took the church with the 21mm on my Leica not knowing the breeze would part the leaves. Bonne Chance! elsewhere, was equally lucky as the cat ran across the scene as I snapped the shot. I also have “Changing of the Guard” near the Kremlin where a young boy got into my shot and really added to it.
Thank you, Hidemi. This is one of my favorites, so I am very pleased when others like it as well.
