Located just west of Amarillo, Texas, off I-40 (old Rt. 66), is Cadillac Ranch where 10 wildly painted Cadillacs are partially buried upright in a cow pasture. The scene is visible from the highway and though on private land, the public is encouraged to visit the site and even spray paint the vehicles if desired. The Rt. 66 oddity was originally funded by a local millionaire. Best viewed large.
