“By a savage wind, torn from the sky
To the forest below, tossed down to die
The winged horse, so full of despair
Lays in the stream, taking last air
The wolves they have sensed it, they move in quick
They see food to devour, they see bones to pick
The horse lays there hoping, to die at least
To die and be gone, ‘ere the wolves do feast
Its then from the trees, a saviour arrives
A white winged stallion, and with intent he dives
With hooves to kick, with wings to batter
His steely intent, the wolves to scatter
This majestic steed, full of fury and fight
To some a danger, to some a delight
But for him in the moment, there can be but one goal
To protect the fallen, to save his kin’s soul”

Love this! Gave me goosebumps (chills). With your permission I would like to share this with my daughter who is not unlike the fallen winged horse. We know the majestic steed is on his way.
Thanks for your comment and by all means share this with your daughter if you wish……..Andrew
