When you’re young and all is play
When mum has to chase us round all day
To keep us safe, because that’s her job
While in every puddle we splash and bob.
We run and hide, just for fun
But mum quacks and flaps to get her job done
They say these days of play will soon pass
But while they’re here we’ll have a blast.
