This old place has been left to the elements. It’s a shame to see these pieces of our short history being left to fall to ruin, even the water tank on it’s stand and the old windmill have seen better days.

I love this shot of the old house and you’re right the chimney is usually the last structure standing – the last act of defiance. The bare trees set this off even more. Lovely scenery.
