Now This Is How To Drive A Ship
The ships here are built on transportation frames on a hardstand and then towed about 1.5kms to a launching facility. These patrol vessels are 55 meters long and take quite a bit to move. There are 4 trailers placed under the frame each with 9 independently control hydraulic axels. Add in a prime mover front and rear and your ready to hit the road, at a very slow walking pace.

Make a bit of a mess, that’s for sure..Thanks T
zacco
looks quite easy till you try a roundabout or a low bridge…good shot
Andrew S replied
Yeah straight lines aren’t to bad but anything that has a bend is a bit tricky. You have one prime mover pulling driving forward and the other pushing but it is reversing. Thanks for looking zacco..

I’m just glad that the drivers of the to trucks didn’t both decide to go forward. Although I would have been in the right spot for some good shots,, LOL….
