    Very cool shot, I was going to make a comment on how close you were, but I see you were at the zoo. What species of Bird is this?

    It is actually a Brolga, it’s a type of large Crane we have here in Australia (normally in the warmer areas). Apparently they put on quite a display a breeding time when they go looking for that special someone.
