El Niuton by Gordon Monro

El Niuton <http://www.elniuton.com> is on online arts magazine
coming from Colombia, with a focus on art and technology (the name
refers to Sir Isaac). Early this year I got a nibble from them;
I sent them some material, and there is a piece on my work
(in Spanish) in their issue no. 2, with a couple of excerpts from
my pieces (p.158 on). They also sent me some curly questions,
and asked me to send a video of my replies, which I did. It is
on page 164 under the heading “Entrevista”.

My work aside, there is interesting stuff in the current issue,
including coverage of the artificial life art of Christa Sommerer
and Laurent Mignonneau, and an amazing “architectural” installation
called “Re-Orient” built out of 5000 cheap electronic toys. Most of
the text is in Spanish, but for “Re-Orient” there is a 16-page
blurb in English explaining how to hack the toys. There are usually
links to external websites as well.

The site is all in Flash with quite a few videos.

They are open to being contacted by artists – “send your work and
be part of El Niuton” – email: info (at) elniuton.com.
