Gentle Giants

I was near Ground Zero and just puttering around when I looked up at two of the surviving towers, they reflected the sky so beautifully and I was so happy to see them shining in the sun..

It was not until I really looked at the image that I realized the only reason I got this shot was because the Towers One and Two were missing.. made me very sad… even though the scene was quite beautiful, it made me see just how awful some events can be…and what beauty can be after wards..
