I am taking a step back from making large scale paintings to develop concepts. For this year I intend to make 50 small scale studies on whatever subject peeks my interest at the time. There will probably be no rhyme or reason to this, just a journey.
At the end of the year I will look back at what I have produced, then pick 4 to make into paintings.

Should be interesting.
