I clicked to see a larger version and the texture of the canvas goes beautifully with this.
I like the repetition here, with the moon, balloon, and girl almost being the same objects, but there’s still contrast between them, with the moon being a circle and the balloon and girl almost being inverted mirrors of each other. That piece of land reminds me of the island up at the cottage, so it made me smile to see it.
Great job, paintings like this make me wish I had the money to buy them. :)
