Spider Woman, also known as Spider Grandmother, was seen either as a Goddess/Creatrix or just a divine being that helped human beings depending on the Native American tribe. Pueblo or Hopi Indians so revered her that her real name was not spoken aloud and she was only referred to as Spider Woman. The Hopi believed she had brought all things to life with just her thoughts.
I call upon Spider Woman to help me weave my life together when it all seems too complicated. I call upon Spider Woman to acknowledge the power my thoughts have to give birth to my life. I call upon Spider Woman to honor our grandmothers’ wisdom.
