This is a surreal looking scene which poses some questions.
If we follow our love of technology to its ultimate, maybe one day robots will inherit the earth – in which case what things do we as humans value most and want to pass on to them? Would they juggle these competing interests better or end up making the same potentially disastrous mistakes we humans make? Are qualities such as love, living things and the environment more important than technological progress? What is most important? What can we afford to drop?
This is a digital collage of manipulated objects to form a robot family superimposed on a photo of a local beach which has been altered to show a post-disaster scenario.
