Looking out a window from inside the Great Wall of China. Located at the most visited section of the Great Wall, in Badaling, Yanqing County, which is about 70 kilometres (43 miles) northwest of Beijing. This section of the wall was built during the Ming Dynasty and was an outpost of the Juyongguan Pass in the Jundu Mountains. It was the first section of the wall to open to tourists in 1957. This is where President Nixon visited on February 24, 1972 during his famous and historic visit to China. Taken in December 2009.
