I love these old houses Karin and take pics.where ever I go. Visited Maleny one month ago and took one there. Our son and I plan to go and do a little sketching or whatever at Bribie Island this week to be alone before he goes back.

I am trying to get more time now Nira. It is a lovely place much safer to be than Guatemala City and I love old houses.

Very picturesque, but I bet they don’t have any mod-cons though. Let us see the painting please when you find time to do it.

Sure will. No there are many houses even modern ones that don’t have hot running water. The warm water in the shower runs out after a few seconds if they have it installed, then you have to beware of the scorpians. Dead ones are ok.

I bet a humbling place to visit, and folk that live there have old fashioned charm, manners and kindness traits, well that’s what the image makes me feel, it’s lovely! Well captured!

Yes Teresa, the people are friendly, there isn’t much crime, maybe a bag snatching now and then but everyone tries to make a humble living.
