Found this neat cluster of Oyster Mushrooms growing on a maple tree in Roseburg, Oregon USA. Oyster Mushrooms are edible mushrooms that grown on dead or dying trees for more info check here: This was taken with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS70.

    I’ve only found the trumpets a couple times and havent yet tried. They don’t seem terribly ‘meaty’ like the Oysters. :o)
    AlaskaMan did that awesome image…he’s got an amazing touch with computer graphics!

  • Yeah its very cool I like it. Yeah they’re not real meaty I think thats why I like them you can fry them up crunchy which I love.
