GRAND ETANG NATIONAL PARK, Grenada/Caribbean

Several troops of mona monkeys (Cercopithecus mona) roam the forests of Grenada. Mona monkeys are not native to the Western Hemisphere, but instead were introduced from Africa. As members of the Cercopithecidae — or Old World monkeys — they do not have the prehensile tails characteristic of their New World cousins.

I am taking pictures and videos since a long time, just as an amateur and for fun. Since I’m living on a boat year around my equipment has to be small and robust – so no big “bodies” and lenses.
I enjoy sharing what I see and experience.
