Rota, CNMI, the site of many WWII battles

My heart goes out to all those who suffered following the recent earthquake and tsunami. Now to watch the unfolding nuclear emergency , certainly worrying times for those in Japan and surrounding areas.

This is gorgeous Varinia, the gorgeous purple hues shared with pink paint the sky so lovingly and you’ve just got to love those reflections with it. I like the framing with the arch too, really nice touch

  • Thank you Stuart, was a very serene spot, always appreciate your comments :-)

What a wonderful tribute to the Japanese people through such trying times! We were horrified at the damage done and lives lost of those eartquakes and tsunamis and now we watch anxiously for the outcome of the nuclear plants.

  • Thanks Joanne, I know, the situation is horrific, makes you wonder what’s next?
