This place is on my must see list and here’s a great example as to why. The lighting and textures are brought to great prominence here and I really like the shape of the shadows through the arch which reveal the unsees shapes against the brightly lit wall.
Globalphotos replied
You’d love it Stuart, definitely a must see :-)) Thank you

Funny you should pass by my Sanctuary… I saw this earlier and thought hmmmm… haven`t seen you around in a while… so even though I def was gonna comment on this anyway, your visit inspired me to do it NOW!!!
It`s like the cool thing about this is that it looks like the set of an early Star Trek episode… or some cool 50`s sci-fi like Cat Women of the Moon (wow those kitties were HOT!). Not only because it`s in black & white, but it`s got a studio set vibe for me that makes it totally unique and cool.
And aside from the mystery I get with all that, I`m in awe of how you got such dynamic range without losing detail in those amazing textures… don`t know if Ansel would have got it this good…
Varinia, I so love your take on the natural beauty and awesomeness of our planet. You are such a worthy ambassador!!
xo
