I’m fortunate enough to have visited this very magical and beautiful place and this is just a gorgeous reminder. Fabulous deep rich red tones and I love the way the crags and shadows intermingle with one another. Magnificent sky to booy as well, love how it hovers over the top of the rocks.

I have heard so much about this area and all photos support the comments on how very beautiful it is! This is super Varinia! The color, the light and the shadow are exceptional. I find that your composition enable the eye to easily sweep up from the shadowed foreground to the majestic of those rocks and then rest briefly in that lovely sky!

Oh my goodness.. I love Sedona.. They have a little airport that has a restaurant … next time you are through there, you should try it.. last time I was there the lighting was similar to this, only a storm brewed in the background.. wouldn’t you know I did not have my camera. Great photograph, extremely beautiful color.
