I`m glad you mentioned where this was taken… I was going to ask what planet you were on (hey, you DO get around, yeah?) Love the dynamic between foreground and the dunes in the distance, and you shot at the right time of day to get those amazing ripple textures in the sand. Must be an awesome place. In fact, you`ve just prolonged my life… I can`t die till I`ve seen this place for myself!

ps: Those clouds… are they for real?

this is such art ~ perfection in every way ~ the sweet sculpted dune perfectly lit ~ the rolling dunes seem to echo forward like waves to the shore ~ the shadow mountains and even the sky seems to be playing back the same forms below ~ simply inspiring Varinia xx
