Golly gosh gumdrops Varinia – couldn’t you do better than this ?? I mean, I did offer to carry your gear at Yosemite …. :) ...sigh… an instant favourite !!!! you certainly have not disappointed. I think I’ll take up stamp collecting now.

This is really quite beautiful; lovely lighting conditions and colors. There’s another terrific image in here too. Did you consider a square crop and crop most of the left side all the way over to where the top of El Capitan meets the ridgeline? I think creates an even more powerful image. The left side really pulls the viewer away from that gorgeous view eastward up the Valley. Excellent work! Cheers! Chris

it’s got such amazing light qualities, reminds me of a painting by the likes of Rembrandt. a master of light he was and he always made it look right. yours is beautiful.
