Standing Tall.. On Your Own.. by

This is my husband Kjell.
now I know this photo is up to a different interpretation from anyone viewing it.. and I wanted to project a positive feeling….but the reall feeling behind this photo is this:
The sun was setting in the sky and it was such a wonderful and nice evening that I told Kjell I wanted to go out to make photos.. so I kinda dragged him along, although he wasn’t feeling like coming along much..
so this is actually him, being very bored and hoping that it will be dark soon, so I couldn’t take any more pictures..
(but I forgive him, ‘cause he’s such a sweetheart to me)

This is a wonderful image – very thought provoking – could also be sinister if viewed as someone watching from a distance. Fabulous! xxx

  • thanks Angela! Glad you like it!
yes this photo can be very broad in it’s meaning :)
it really depends on how you feel at the moment of viewing it I guess ;)
thanks for the nice words!! xx

The boredness of your Husband shows quite clearly in his stance and it’s a nice image though the distance, the solitary figure in the woods and the fact that he is above your pov make it somewhat intimidating like you are about to be either a victim or left in your predicament whatever that might be. Strong image for a rural horror film.

  • thanks again for your kind words and your professional comment!
glad that just one shot can bring up so many different thoughts in people…
I like this photo in b&w… although the original was in colour… ‘cause this one (b&w) just gives that something more to it..
It may be an idea for when I’m starting on a film-career .. haha :)
Again thanks for your comments and for viewing my work!

This is a great photo, perhaps in part because it can be interpreted so many ways.
