Oliver is a purebred Devon Rex. He was diagnosed with asthma when he was just 9 months old. Before his diagnosis, I didn’t know that cats could get the disease! I also have asthma, and the vet said that when Oliver has an attack, I can use my own inhaler on him….. which he hates.
Oliver is 11 years old, loves to cuddle, purrs very loudly, wags his tail when he’s happy, and likes to sleep often. He is the most affectionate cat I have ever known, and if he wants to be held, he’ll literally jump into your arms. He has been known to surprise total strangers visiting my home by flying through the air and landing on them. Pretty funny. He is very devoted to me and growls if his 2 sisters try to butt in on his cuddle time. When he is angry or excited, his skin gets flushed and he turns pink. His fur is a soft downy-like coat of curls – very soft and velvety, and Devons do not shed very much due to their unique fur.
