My first camera was an Argus C3 given to me by my Uncle. Became interested and over the intervening years I have done photography and stopped, only to start again. Have begun again in the last 4 years with Canon Digital Point and Shoots. I have no training in the arts or photography. I have read some of Ansel Adam’s series, never finished.. I have learned a lot from seeing the fantastic images here.

nice and colorful image…. strange and slimy creature. lol

  • Howdy Manon, thanks for the lovely comments. Yes, they are a strange looking beasty. If they start eating the foliage, they are going to have to go. I’m not talking a bus ticket out of town either!

Y’all grow them big down there! Very nice capture, he found a single green leaf in a sea of brown, it makes for a very colorful pic!

  • Hey Chris, yep this was a large one, good 3" long. Haven’t noted this variety before. Thanks for your perspective on the image!

Wow, very macro indeed, Glenn! Great clarity and movement … ok, ok, the movement is a bit slow, but that’s not your fault, lol! love this one for a fav buddy!!!

  • Mighty kind of you, Bob. I’m not near as fast as I used to be, so I had this character, way outclassed. A Fave my friend, that is great! I appreciated it!

    Amazing, Glenn!

  • Many thanks Robert, was out shooting mushrooms for identification by a dear fellow member, and there it slimed.

    Very leech-like in form!
I’ve got a few giants in my garden but have been blessed that they do almost no visible damage…PHEW! I love mullusks and their relatives…..strange eh?

  • Hello Carla,
Now that you mention it, ewww! Like snails, reptiles, amphibians.. never developed any empathy for slugs. Don’t know that it is strange, just educated and interested in more than the general stuff {:-))!
