Canon Powershot G12 in Macro Mode

My first camera was an Argus C3 given to me by my Uncle. Became interested and over the intervening years I have done photography and stopped, only to start again. Have begun again in the last 4 years with Canon Digital Point and Shoots. I have no training in the arts or photography. I have read some of Ansel Adam’s series, never finished.. I have learned a lot from seeing the fantastic images here.

do these wonderful Mushrooms grow in your garden Glenn Another fabulous capture well done lee

  • Hey there mate, I don’t know what they are, so I really don’t know how wonderful they are. They look similar to the eggs in the movie “Alien”, None have made threatening gestures. So I will say they are seemingly benign pretty mushrooms. Thanks so mush Lee

Lovely capture. I’m afraid that I can’t get down that low any more. :)

  • Eve, that is why telephoto lenses were invented. Little known fact, looked it up {:-)). Getting down isn’t nearly as hard as getting back up. Anyway, appreciate your comments and POV, so please give it, with a vengeance.

Love these, I haven’t been able to get a real decent pic yet, the lighting was too low in the woods! But soon!!

  • They literally sprang up, grew into a potato size and died. Boy, they grow fast!
At least our water levels are probably up to normal again!
    Take care!

That’s incredible how fast they grow and die!!!

  • Love the story of the fairy rings and can see how they do it! Make a nice picture if I could find one. The chain of life continues as tiny feather like fungus eat the dead potato fungus. Must admit I’ve seen prettier fungi images on RB.
    Have a good one!

Yes I should have said…‘if I get down that low, then I can’t get back up again’. :)

  • Not a problem, as long as you can! {:-))!
