Yes, this is the land I know well – stitched together 5 images? – well done, (can’t tell). I thought the clouds kind of mucky today, the light mysterious.
Glenn Alderson replied
I thought you might know this well…..... Its was about 6:30 tonight, I could not wait to get out there! My favourite time of day for light & the clouds were perfect & very moody. 300 images later & more time now needed to filter them all down to a few.

G’day Glenn,
This is a very well made pano, filled with interest and made more attractive by the fan-like perspective of the rows of vines.
I am so glad you chose a vantage point that keeps the buildings off centre.
The exposure in that great light has rendered very well controlled contrast and highlights and lovely natural colours.
Shot with a very good depth of field and a sharp focus, this scene is a pleasant journey for the eye from left to right or vice versa.
Very good work that man!

Thanks for all your comments mate :) When deciding to do the pano on this I thought having the buildings more off centre would look better, so thankyou for spotting that.

Cheers

I just love the Willunga Hills & vines :)

Excellent pano, Glenn. The light is just right and the composition is well-thought out especially with the view down one of the corridors between the vines in the right-hand third.
Superb.

Very beautiful, but the clouds aren’t “mucky” maybe I’m just used to them! I’m told there’ll be rain in December and the opening rains in April (bees forecast). The stunning beauty of these hills is year round and you’ve captured it so well in this mode.Love the look of the spot behind the vines that has been plowed.I’m just an afficionado!
