Signs of progress??? MMM, I wonder sometimes!

I guess the farmer will get a bit of money from the sale, although probably no where near what the developers will make… let’s hope the farmers have a “happy retirement”!!!

Would be interesting to see a shot of this same spot in a few years time… put it in your diary!

  • Glenn Alderson replied

I read in the papper some guy from Adelaide living in Hong Kong baught this land over in net for a couple hundred thousand about 4 years ago. Its now worth about 2 Million!!!!

Boo to developers! Looks like perfectly functional growing land. However, we are surrounded and they’re moving in. Just stay away from our scrub…

  • Glenn Alderson replied

I love the scrub, this land must be protected.

They paved paradise and put up a parking lot
With a pink hotel, a boutique, and a swingin’ hot spot
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you got till it’s gone
They paved paradise and put up a parking lot

    Love the up angle Glenn….

Beautiful photo Glenn!!!! It’s to bad that in places all over the world this is happening more and more… such a shame!!

  • Glenn Alderson replied

We need room to build our houses, we need land to grow our crops, we need a rocket to the moon because theres not much space left here :)

    A very nice one, Glen.
I really like the texture of the field here.

  • Glenn Alderson replied

The light was good & there had been rain all day which helped I think with the texture.

Lovely shot. It is a shame that beautiful scenes like this are becoming something that our children will only see in history books, or on sites like this. BUT, at the same time, that’s progress. If we don’t want humanity to develop and to spread, then we gotta stop having kids! Damn silly conundrum.

  • Glenn Alderson replied

Sorry Stephen I must have missed you comment!
    Were do we start!
Do we save the trees or build the farms, do we save the farms or build the houses…........Do we save the trees to save the world, do we save the farms to feed the world, do build the houses to house the world!
