Touched His Soul

In friends we traveled together
fighting all odds gaining in strength
but when the sun rise and a new day is born
one stands alone.
As the moon stands within the stars
and beams in the glowing light
that one forgets what is light without the darkness?
The path of where we been is easier
when one can look back and say
“Hello Friend.”

What is a man if he has not touched his soul
On the journey of ever living life?
To have lived the unquestionable
To have conquered the unacceptable
And gain wisdom from the glory
Only to loose sight of the vision
That was set on the course of living life.

How does man climb upward if he
Cannot not see from where he had climbed from?
To ignore the many manifestation that lead him
To where he now stands within the shadows
Instead of the light.

Something so simple
To say, How do you do?
Something so plain
When there is no need to explain
Something so wise
To just say, “I’ve survived.”

Then again what could be expected
From someone who has not
Touched his soul
On the journey
Of ever living life
Within the Quest.
