Thank you for the comments (everyone). This was my first Yellowstone winter trip and I can’t wait to get back. Definitely different from summer. And winter is the norm there. Just spectacular.

Thank you Jake. And from you I found out about the feature. Cool!!! No, I live in northern Colorado. I went to Yellowstone with the Joseph Van Os tour last winter. Fabulous trip and I would very much like to go with them again. The pro photographer leading the trip, Mike Francis, was great. This image was taken at Old Faithful.

Thank you Barbara. If i remember right, I was the one out there. It was later in the day and everyone else from the photo tour when back to the lodge. Lucky for me to be able to capture this. And I had a nice, warm jacket myself :)
