Wild Woman of the Woods

Poem, Wild woman of the Woods

I am the wild woman of the woods,
I catch leaves between my toes, moonlight in my eyes,
dappled light dances in my heart.
I am the wild woman of the woods, weathered by wind, rain and sun,
My skin is rough as Oak bark, green as jade.
I play for days in the crystal stream,
Baptised in the waterfall.
For I am as wild as the wild wood, as shrewd as the fox,
As wise as the Owl, as mischievous as the elves,
For I am the wild wood, the wild wood is me.
