This view from Brainard Lake looks west toward the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area and the Continental Divide. On a typically cold July morning up at ten thousand feet, the first benevolent rays of sunlight kiss the tops of Mount Toll (left, 12,979 feet) and Paiute Peak (right, 13,088 feet).
