The most visited mountain in North America and the second most visited mountain in the world behind Japan’s Mount Fuji, Pikes Peak forms an impressive backdrop for Colorado Springs and its Garden of the Gods, a city park like no other.
Three of the park’s signature Red and White Lyons Sandstone formations are shown in this view: South Gateway Rock on the left, with North Gateway Rock and White Rock in front on the right.
