Found near Silver Jack Reservoir south of Cimarron, these aspen trees at the base of the High Mesa Pinnacles are justly famous for their blazing fall colors. But I love them in springtime as well. Fluttering in the cool breeze with all the freshness of new growth, their lime green leaves are simply splendid. So too is this log fence, which graces the dirt road leading up to Owl Creek Pass.
