I love the work and the title.
A way..yes.. many ways to pray…to what it would represent our own inner Reality.
Here.find a too much enclosed temple, and quite “moving under my feet”...impermanence…roundness…Earth and the Monoliths given the meaning to the Word…the Logos.Beatiful work…
I have heard some other time about Masonite…what is exactly that…? I have aguess but do not know.

Thanks Rosa. There’s something magical about a monolith! Regarding masonite, it’s a sturdy pressed wood product that has been used for paintings for many years. When coated with gesso, it’s a great painting surface. It’s especially good for heavy or thick applications where you don’t want the movement or “give” that you get with canvas.

Totally cool, and such refreshing logic to see the frame painted over too.

I’ve painted over a few crappy frames – it seems to always meet with good responses. I hate seeing stuff like that just thrown out with the trash, so It gives me a certain satisfaction to recycle them into something beautiful.
