It was one of those winter morning with a cover of frost crystals that I knew was not going to last to long. Not the most comfortable temps to be photographing and the gloves made it even more of a challenge. This old long needled pine was asking to be captured. Taken in Colstrip, Montana, USA. Canon EOS, DSLR 18-55mm lens. I was inspired by the beauty of the morning.

Isn’t it soooo cool when the frost dances like this!! It’s growing on the branches! What an amazing find! The pine cones add so much beauty and help to show off this amazing frost! Spectacular presentation! xx
thanks a bunch Maxy for favoring and your comment, so much appreciated!!! We don’t get hoarfrost to often, to far from the river.. When it happens, it is usually not as thick as I would like it and melts fast, got to be quick with the camera. I was pleased with this capture, I even braved very cold fingers, but it was worth it.
