Number two was just no fun
I kissed and miss sweet number three
I wonder if he misses me
Number four was just a friend
I swear I won’t see five again
Number six was strange but nice
He wore bad suits (Miami Vice)
Number seven was so darn funny
But I always paid, he had no money
Number eight was dignified
But just so serious (insert sigh)
Number nine always made me smile
I even loved him for a while
But life goes on, he was not enough
I let him go, though it was tough
Cuz love is more than cuteness and fun
I’m holding out for number one
