Here is this dim girl, world
Here she is
Once bright with phrases that
Humored you
She rests, now, in slow turns
Of sorrow
There are butterflies above her
Waving to roads that she
Can not return to
Her days once as certain
As the coming of shores
They will forever perfume your heels
Now gone ever far
Inside a weeping fog
What man is safety if not you?
Her venue moves to fields of lavender
As she runs to him
Her strength to feel his chest upon her breast
That inimitable feeling!

If this lasts, oh love, if it lasts
I shall never tell a soul
Sing lightly, upon my heavy heart
Take liberty to kiss me, turn my face to your way
Every inch of me requests such play
And if I may meet you every day

I shall never tell a soul
