light of leaving

light of leaving belongs to the following groups:

Lasting, lasting light
Blinding me with
His cruel speech
Though it was not
The cruel
I had wished
It would be
To only make sense of my
Leaving

Distant locked doors
Resonating home
But I have no key for them
For he does not hear my words
Now that he has become a
Stranger whose lips taste
Like abandoned dusk

Should I lie with blossoms
Pressed against my chest
Should my fingertips search a
Stone, as imagined death
Sets him like a star
Far above my aching

Never to be tempting
As his foolishness
So near

Your curse is your gift my dear. You could cut a man to ribbons with your words, but you could as well make him fall in love with you if you so chose—at least in my opinion/
