Masterpiece
In the moment, now and now and now-—-—
How do you write like a poet
How do you express the right thought
Do you start from the beginning
Or the end of a line
Does it matter what subject you’ve got
If you capture deep space
Along with the stars
Or the sea is much more on your mind
Would you change what to say
At the end of the day
Or describe there whatever you find
Can you make it any-place
Any-where or time
Do the words that you write
Have to work out in rhyme
Should it be ambiguous or more
Sky blue sublime
Would you call this work a poem
Or a cryptical line
Do you have to explore
All the mythical facts
And enhance those deep feelings of love
Should you write about you’re dreams
Or portray your experience
Do you wait for a sign from above
It’s a funny old thing
These thoughts with a shape
How majestic the way they are said
But where do you start and
When do you stop
I’ll explore a few scenes in my head
Could it be vast mountains of snow or
Pyramids sandblasted with age
Should it be one
Long-winding-soft country scene
Or described as a slow burning rage
Who should then judge
This fine work of art
Your painting expressed on a page
Museums of note or a man on a boat
Or perhaps
A time wizened old Sage

Great work, So fluid and gripping
