Our Armour is Fading

The steel in our Armour is fading
Our horses are tired and drawn
The richness of night is not saving
The trees in the field that are gone

Who keeps the lighthouses burning
As the ship
Steers its way through the dark
And where is the lost soul
Who cried out to me
What happened to young Joan of Ark

And where is the justice in hunger
When gold is stacked up at your feet
Grow mountains of food
To the Gods in the sky
Build cars that cover the street

Who sees the way to the future
Beyond all reasonable doubt
The world is now our whole body
The sky we can’t live without

So whisper quick now
To the silent few
We can win this war as one
Before we kill the cosmic light
That showers mankind with sun

Our Armour is Fading
