Flood

Winter rain
does not cleanse like
the sweet warmth
of summer -
It only adds
it’s own layer of
Bitterness.

And yet I am awash with it,
all the same.

Habit of sitting in the rain to calm my nerves is kind of quashed at the moment, it’s supposed to snow this weekend. Freezing to death will, in fact, not make me feel any better.
