This is a beautiful Appoloosa that I see on a back road on my way back and forth to an Apple Orchard I go to. He is very friendly. He came running toward me so hard that I thought he would go through the skinny little strands of wire that was all that held him back. It was on the way TO the orchard …so I had NO apples! I reached down and plucked a bunch of green grass for him and he seemed to like that….and he didn’t try to get through the wires anymore. lol He’s a big boy!! Taken in Nelson County, Virginia with my Canon Powershot SX110 IS
Beautiful country you live in Ginny. He’s a beauty. I bet Skyhorse will love him in her appaloosa group ;)
Thanks Di! I added him to her group. I hope she likes him. It really is beautiful country out here where I’m at in Virginia. I’m very lucky to see such beauty all the time. :))
Well Ginny he is BIG, and he certainly looks beautiful.. particularly in this goreous shot of him! If you hadn’t told me he was a boy, I would have thought him a heavily pregnant lady! (chuckle!) (Does he need to be on a diet? – snortle!) What a beautiful and gentle face he has, and you have depicted him so-oo perfectly! I love the way that he seems to be so casually trotting up the rise to meet you! (And I do suspect he does have APPLES on his mind! (giggle!) Thankyou! Love Trish xxx
LOL I do think he looks pregnant too. But he IS a boy! Just a Fattie! Hahaha He was coming toward me quite fast actually…lol. He must have been thinking “apples”! Thanks Trish!
Thanks so much Evita! This guy is a real beauty. :))

Thanks so much Mira! I love Appys too. Well all horses really. This guy is really friendly and likes a nice rub on his forehead. Thanks so much for favoriting a bunch of my images. I appreciate that. :))
Thanks so much Linda. This guy was actually trying to get out from behind the wire fence once he got to it. Maybe it’s a good thing he was so big! :)) Thanks for adding him to your favorites!
