This was taken at the Virginia Safari Park in Natural Bridge, Virginia. There are 180 acres there where the animals roam free. This is called a Burchell’s Zebra, whos natural range is in West Africa and Zimbabwe. The average height is 5 feet and they can weigh between 500 and 700 pounds. It’s very impressive to see these animals in a natural setting and really nice that they are used to people driving through and will get close to the vehicles. This was taken with a Kodak Easyshare DX 3900 Camera with 3.1 megapixels.

Very nice capture Ginny. The park must be a great place to visit.
It’s awesome! You can drive through over and over if you want to. There is another section too with different animals. They have 2 Bengal Tigers. Of course they can’t let them run loose out there or they would kill all the other animals. lol I love to go there. Thanks Victoria!!
