Here I Come ... Ready Or Not by

I took this at the Virginia Safari Park in Natural Bridge, Virginia, USA, where this Elk and lots of other animals have 180 acres to roam free on. This guy was pretty impressive and I was glad I was in a vehicle! :))

Don’t you wonder why he doesn’t just fall over, with that heavy rack! You’re right he is impressive and this is a fantastic shot! Dee

  • You know I do wonder how he doesn’t fall over. Can you imagine having to carry this rack around all day and night?
Thanks for the comment Dee! i’m glad you like this guy.

His antlers are nearly as tall as he is – would hate to have a run in with this one! Great shot:)

  • Me too! I couldn’t believe how tall the antlers were. Thanks Felicity!

Run…. run run run very very fast!!!!! This one means business! You climb trees right? That could work unless he’s a head bonker…! Excellent shot – spectacular work! Instant fav!

  • LOL Thanks Maxy!! No I don’t climb trees!!! I’m in trouble!! Actually you ride through this section of the park in your vehicle…so I was sort of safe. They do say that they are not responsible for damage to your vehicle. hahaha But so far the worst thing that happened is an Emu wacked the window one time so hard I thought it would break….but it didn’t. We just drove off. lol So when this guy started coming…we drove off too. But first I had to get a shot of him with those antlers! So huge!
Thanks for adding this to your favorites!!

What an extraordinarely beautiful location and picture Ginny!

  • Thanks so much Steven! This place has 180 acres of land with winding roads that you drive through on. It’s great!! The animals are loose there.
