Said the Spider to the Fly!

Best viewed large.

I wasn’t really sure what I was taking without my glasses on. Just something moving on the deckrail….and this is what it was.

Taken in my yard in Amherst, Virginia, USA with my Canon Powershot SX110 IS on a macro setting.

    Wow! what a capture,Ginny,great macro,:o)) God Bless,Mae

  • Thanks Mae!! I was taking shots of my mountain view out on my little deck and saw something move on the railing to the left. I didn’t have my glasses on, so I wasn’t sure what it was…so small. But I set it on macro and took a couple of shots and hoped for the best. Really I thought it might be two flies breeding. I was shocked to see what I caught! Happily shocked! lol

Great capture, both you and the Jumping Spider.

  • Thanks so much Baynanno!! I didn’t have my glasses on when I took this…so I got really close and was on the macro setting. I’m not sure I would have gotten that close if I had known it was a jumping spider! Yikes. I though it might be two flies breeding till I saw it on the computer screen! Eeeeee!! Thanks for the fav!!! My camera light lets me know when things are in focus. Lucky me!
