Cereus Cactus flowers for one night only each bloom is at least 10 inches across, with exquisite perfume. AS IS Panasonic Lumix DMC 35 f/3.2 1/60 sec iso -100 11mm flowering at the bottom of the stairs, but I have to remember to wake around 11pm and 1.00 am when I sneak outside find a torch and a camera… fun when raining! Actually I find the torch before in case the Python is there..

thanks very much.the perfume is exquisite for sure, we had a happy plant Dracaena Fragrans] which matched if not better, had to dig it out to get to septic tank] and the trumpet tree Datura too [just had to cut it out as the roots were too invasive ] so the night perfume wafting around used to be lovely once…i

Hope you have a good New year and all year too … I have a Python curled up on the back veranda rafters right now, commenting as I always watch out not to disturb it/ them so have to be careful gardening.and getting aound the yard at night in the dark .. he /she has a very fat tummy , must have found a nice meal through the night, [not dangerous at all ]
