this is a very lay-backed relaxed painting to view Ginny….the blues draw your eye in to the figure enjoying her rest…a lovely painting
Hi Linda thanks I think I used Payne’s grey or maybe Indigo It got left for years in the garage got so messy with mould etc and I scrubbed it with a brush and soap apart from turps! a few years ago .it’s on board so no damage, I think I gave it a bit of touch up with paint on the yellow too.We had to paint just shadows and light prob my first nude. LOL can’t remember!
thanks Liz just re phographed a lot of oldies one day , so will put them on sometimes ….all were just on film and had things in the background like grass/ windows/ dogs /LOL

thanks Benjamin, Isabels hair was the inpiration of many compositons, very thick and cut amost abstract. to her shoulders. I just painted the light and dark for this one. the teacher had good lighting set up too.
